ENNICHI AND MY NEW DOLL

Went to ennich (flea market),near by about 10min. away. It was fun. Jason
wanted to buy old silk kimono to make his mother a surprise for her birthday.
We figure the cheapest way to do it was to get old nice kimono and cut it.
I found this yoroi and kabuto
.

Very interesting man. I bought this doll for 3,000 yen. He said
3,500, but made it 3,000. Momo tried to get it for 2,000 yen, but he
wouldn't do it. He said he told another lady that was interested that he
will make it 3,000, and she may come back. (That's me). He said that it
was bear bottom price. It kind of has a few holes, but it is cute. Very old.
Before Showa.

Second Picture of my doll, do you like him? I bought this kimono and just took the sleeve off and rapped it around him. A church member will help me make a Kimono for it. She is one of the churches members. It came with a big old basket, and Mosquito net, but
it is not a whole one. People use it to make craft. It is kind of real cute. Japanese
people think that old dolls are scary. They think it's back luck, because
they have a lots of scary obake (ghost) stories.
