Vol 1. No. 1 - May 2000

Dear Friends and Prayer Partners:

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank God through Jesus for all of you..."Romans 1:7 & 8

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes... The righteous will live by faith." Romans 1:16-17

As far as I can remember as a young child, God had been working in my heart to respond to His invitation to join Him in His work as a missionary. Much time has gone by, but this year though the study of Romans, He impressed in me the need, the privilege and the urgency to "Go ye". Through Bible Study Fellowship International, this year I learned that the greatest gift we could give is the Gospel.

God, through His Word, has ordained each believer as "A chosen race, a royal priesthood, that we may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called us out of darkness into his wonderful light." (I Peter 2:9) In Exodus 4:12, it commands; "Now go I will help you speak and will teach you what to say." By faith, I have accepted God's assignment at Machida Christian Center as a conversational English teacher. It is an outreach for the church in Japan.

Looking back, I smile and praise my Lord for how he has been preparing me for "Such a time as this." As of July 1, 2000, my new address will be the Machida Christian Center, 4-18-3 Haramachida, Machida Tokyo Japan 194-0013.

In order to fulfill the above, I will need;

Prayer requests:

All details and paperwork for my visa to Japan medical and health plan for a year will be completed. Smooth dispersal of my father's estate. Completing triumphantly the Lord's work at Bible Study Fellowship international on the 24th of May. Safe journey home as I will drive alone to Canada to prepare for Japan. All medical and dental appointments to be completed To be able to return to the us to Hermon Summer Conference and to lea the 29th of June.
